The human female reproductive system are a series of organs located inside the body and around the pelvic region of a female. It contain three main part: the vagina, who acts as the receptacle for the male's sperm, the uterus, which holds the developing fetus, and the ovaries, which produces the female's ova. Most classifications not consider the breasts to be part of the female reproductive system. The vagina is meet the outside at the vulva, which also is including the labia, clitoris and urethra. The vagina is attach to the uterus through the cervix, while the uterus is attached to the ovaries via the fallopian tubes. Approximately every 28 days the ovaries release an ovum, which pass through the fallopian tube into the uterus. The lining of the uterus, called the endometrium, and unfertilized ova is shed (eliminati) each cycle through a processes known as menstruation.
