Celebrities complain that their privacy is increasingly being taken away because their lives are exposed by the media. However, they are much more exposed if they have a profile on social networks. One solution would be not to have one. However, can they really avoid having a place on the giant social networks that connect everybody everywhere? They certainly can't. Just as people can't avoid being connected to the Web, otherwise they would be literally cut off. But by being connected, our lives are exposed to anybody's curiosity and criticism.
