Read the presentation then say whether the following statements apply always (A) or never (N).

I am a very insecure person and I never know when I can trust people. Maybe it is simply because I don't always trust myself. Especially when feelings are concerned. I tend to make friends easily, but as easily as that I then try not to get too much involved with people. This is why I don't have good friends, and I have never had a very close one, the best friend who you can tell all your secrets. Sure, I would like to have one but when the occasion presents I am scared of taking it.  I have never spent hours and hours talking to another girl, for example. And I end up with having lots of superficial friends. I have had ups and downs as anybody else, and superficial friends are never there to help you in the bad moments of your life. That is understandable. Have I ever been a reliable friend for any of them? I would like to, but I just lack confidence. However, things are going to change, I am sure. If one has the patience of scratching under the surface, one realizes that I am in need of good close friends as any girl of my age. I have met a boy, he is absolutely fantastic: caring and all. We have started going out for a pizza and a film. Nothing serious, but I think I like him and this time I can trust my feelings. I don't know about him but he has asked me out several times and this is a good start, isn't it?

2. She has made friends easily.  ________
3. She has had many close friends. ________
4. She says she has had lots of superficial friends. ________
5. She has been a reliable friend for them. ________
