A crime scene
Two students witnessed a suspicious scene near the school and are reporting it to their teacher. Read the text and say if the sentences are true (T), false (F) or not given (NG).

We both saw a short, fair-haired man, who looked around 40, approaching a young woman. He whispered something in her ear and she stepped back in fright. She clutched her handbag as if she was scared that he wanted to rob her, but he didn't move. The young lady wanted to walk away but the man had grabbed her arm. Then he seemed to be getting angry: his eyes flashed and we were afraid he might attack her. She screamed. A police officer who had heard the noise came running towards them. The man immediately let go of her arm and seemed to calm down. The officer asked them what was going on and the young lady – quite surprisingly – said that nothing had happened. We don't know who the man was. Maybe he was a drug dealer threatening her because she hadn't paid him, but she didn't look like a drug user. Perhaps he was blackmailing her, or she had witnessed a robbery… Or do you think we've been watching too many crime series on TV?
A: A tall, elegant man went up to a young lady.
B: The students thought that the man wanted to attack the young lady.
C: She was so scared by the man that she started screaming.
D: The man calmed down when he saw the officer approaching.
E: The two boys think that the young lady looked like a drug addict.
F: The two boys had just watched a crime series on TV.
