Do you wish you could do something to help the environment? Well, some young people are already making the change they want to see in the world. Greta Thunberg is a 16-year-old climate change activist from Sweden and she's setting a good example while hoping to change people's attitudes to climate change and its consequences. She started her campaigning by simply sitting down outside the Swedish parliament building with a handmade sign saying, 'School strike for the climate'. Her protest soon captured press attention and gained popularity. Her photo appeared in newspapers around the world. Thousands of young people around the world have been joining the protests.
