Reading - Four jobs
A: I'm a hairdresser and I love my job. I work flexible hours and meet lots of amazing people. The main disadvantage is that you stand all day, so it is quite tiring.

B: I get to travel a lot as a tour guide and discover new cultures. I practice my foreign languages, and it can be a lot of fun, but this depends on the people. Because I'm away from home a lot, I'm not going to start a family yet.

C: I earn quite a high salary as a police officer. This is not why I do it though. I really enjoy helping my community and feel I can make a difference to people's lives. There's a lot of variety in my work, but I work long hours and it can be dangerous.

D: I've worked as a vet for over ten years now. I have my own clinic and enjoy being my own boss. I love the variety of animals I see and taking care of them. You study for many years to become a vet and know that you're going to work long hours.
