Read the text and complete it with the correct words below.

Most British people live in houses, not flats. Rich people often choose to live in ________ houses because they have big rooms and are surrounded by a garden.
A very popular type of house is the ________ house. It's joined on one side to a very similar house and has a small garden or parking area in the front and another garden in the back. The bedrooms and bathrooms are usually upstairs.
