Reading – Description of a natural place
Fascinating coastal walks
England's South West Coast Path takes you along 185 miles of unspoilt nature. Here are three of the most popular sections with incredible sea views and gorgeous West Country scenery to admire.
One part in Cornwall will take you along long sandy beaches where you can surf and explore the steep cliffs. There are several bays and cliffs that have wild carrots growing on them. It was in this area that Marconi sent his first wireless signals to Newfoundland.
Another beautiful part, called the Jurassic Coast has 25 miles of pretty coast and bays. There are some steep paths along the way but there are plenty of places to stop for lunch or tea, and dogs are welcome, too. Just hope for good weather.
The third part we recommend is around the town of Dartmouth where you can visit gardens and castles or explore the many local beaches. There are a variety of hotels to choose from and you will have the chance to go for a boat trip up the river Dart to explore the thick countryside. At its mouth the river is very wide, and it forms an interesting type of bay called an estuary.
A: There's the chance to do a watersport.
B: This is a good place to see old buildings.
C: This part is animal friendly.
D: There is dense vegetation in this part.
E: There are different types of accommodation.
F: You can find a common vegetable here.
