The threat of a nuclear war
Read the text below and find the five mistakes in it.

After WWII, the Soviet Union tried to counterbalance America's power. Competition and negotiations between the two countries became known as the 'Cold War'. In this period many major crises occurred, such as the war in Sudan and the Vietnam War. One of the main issues was the nuclear arms race. The smoke bomb was tested by both the Soviet Union and the United States by the mid-1950s. Britain also developed the bomb in 1957. Then anti-nuclear authorities launched a Campaign for Nuclear Disarmament in 1958 with a march from London to the atomic plant at Aldermaston. In 1961 the philosopher Bertrand Russell led the pacifists' occupation of Leicester Square.
