Restoration theatres
Read the text below and find the seven mistakes in it.

The Puritans had closed down the theatres, but, with the restoration of the republic, theatres were made legal again in 1660. A lot of changes were introduced: theatres were roofed, they had bulbs and footlights; there was a drop curtain and a painted movable scene. The audience sat in the light in galleries, on benches or on boxes in the pit, which was now a very humble place. Actors were now tied to the theatre by contract and actresses played male roles. The audience belonged to the upper classes which used to go to the theatre to see the plays and also to meet fashionable playwrights.

The upper classes started attending the theatre and Edinburgh audiences began to enjoy pantomime, a kind of ballad concert, which was a mixture of political satire, picaresque adventures and love interests.
