Langston Hughes: life and works
Langston Hughes was born in Joplin, Indiana, in 1902. He travelled to Asia and Europe, and once back in the USA he worked as a sculptor. Then, thanks to a friend, he entered Lincoln University in Pennsylvania and graduated in 1929. He had a major role in the Brooklyn Renaissance.
