Marlowe uses the dialogue in an extraordinary way showing both sides of Faustus's behaviour. Marlowe does not reach Chaucer's perfection, but he certainly marked a transition from medieval poetry. He improved the dramatic possibilities of rhymed verse, giving life to his words. He was also good at using colours and dialogues.
