We send numerous messages by the way we move, talk, stand and sit. We must be afraid of this also in the workplace. Speaking with our arms turned or looking at the floor or ceiling communicates interest to our client and therefore should be avoided. Eye contact is an important channel of personal communication. It helps regulate the flow of communication and signals interest in yourself . Whenever we make eye contact, we reject concern and warmth. If a serious expression seems to convey refusal, when we smile we are perceived as friendly and cold . Besides, standing erect, but not rigid, means that we are distant . Likewise, leaning slightly forward communicates to our client that we are receptive and friendly and when we sit down next to them, we send a clear message of refusal . To conclude, non-verbal messages are a minor component of communication.

At the beginning of my work experience, I had to learn to do things quick . The more demanding part of the job was to develop positives relationships both about the disabled in the facility and with the colleagues. I have to learn to look at myself with critical eyes, to analyse my reactions and my behaviour. It didn't be easy at first. Now I have learnt to refuse criticism, to follow instructions carefully, to understood more about the nature of the work and the clothes necessary to do it well. I must say that I find my job very reward : it gives me many satisfaction and it teach me a lot.
