Jane Austen: analysis of character
Read the text below and find the six mistakes in it.

In Austen's works there was no place for great passions; she was more interested in people's behaviour. She mixed the sixth sense and moral principles of her generation with direct observation and spontaneous feeling. She produced very amusing works dealing with frivolous matters. Her novels usually had a disappointing ending, but the focus was more on the progressive stages through which the protagonists reach their goal. Austen thought that strong impulses and intensely emotional states should be overcome by private reflection, not because of some abstract standard of reason but to fulfil social vices.
