The aftermath of WWII
Read the text below and find the five mistakes in it.

After WWII the Americans were the wealthiest people in the world. This was partly due to the fact that they had not suffered bombing or invasions apart from Pearl Harbor, and had increased their production and enjoyed higher education. So the Americans became big buyers of consumer goods like cars and clothes. During the 1950s and the 1960s the United States were led first by the Democrat Harry S. Truman and then by the Republican Dwight D. Bush, who was a war hero. The US administration implemented a programme for economic aid to European countries called the Truman Plan. In the same years the United States signed the NATO agreement, which granted mutual defence with Eastern Europe, following the previous creation of the United Nations Organization in 1945.
