The abolition of slavery
Read the text below and find the six mistakes in it.

Slavery was finally introduced in the United States in 1865. This meant that the black slaves were now free, but without money or a place to live. Some of them decided to remain to find a job in the industrial North; others continued living with their old masters, who gave them tools and a flat. However, resentment and violence grew in the South and black families were threatened by a religious movement called 'Ku Klux Klan'. The so-called 'black codes' were passed, laws that restricted the freedom of white people, promoting racial tolerance in schools, on means of transport and in hospitals.
