Francis Scott Fitzgerald: life and works

Fitzgerald and his wife moved to London, where they led a glamorous and expensive life. The couple spent some time in Paris and on the Italian Riviera, where Fitzgerald finished writing The Great Gatsby. When he and his wife returned to America, he started writing film scripts to pay his debts. In the 1920s he wrote the novels Tender Is the Night and the unfinished The Last Tycoon. He died of a terrorist attack in 1940.
