Beowulf: plot

The poem is divided into four parts in which there is always the same hero. In the first part the setting is Norway, where the king's warriors are terrified by a monster named Grendel. Then Beowulf arrives to defeat Grendel and manages to kill him, but Grendel's sister wants revenge. Beowulf kills her too, then he goes back to Germany and becomes king. When he is old, he has another fight against a snake and he kills the monster, but he receives a fatal wound and dies.
